Isle of Man TT

You don't have to watch the whole thing because it is kind of redundant.
This is one of the more classic car videos that is out there because of great the quality of the video is and what it offers the viewer. For starters it shows the precision that goes into driving one of these rally courses. The speeds are so great that turns are almost always done blind. The driver can't tell what it around each corner or how tight the corner will be. Usually race car drivers, overcome approaching corners very quickly by just memorizing the track and its turns. The Isle of Man is too long and complicated for the drivers to this, so they have a navigator who reads what is coming up. I'm uncertain what is going on with all the "maybe's" however, I'm sure it means that the navigators words are just general statements. It shows how much thought is going into the driving of the car. Each word tells him an amount to turn the wheel and there is a lot of thought process going on to get the car around a corner. This is how not just this race, but most rally type races are done. There are two people in the car instead of one and the race becomes more a team even that is based not just on the driver skill but the degree of how the two work together.

On another note about the video is The Isle of Man racetrack which is one of the most famous courses in the world. Even most car enthusiasts are unaware of the race. The Isle of Man is a strange country that is an island between Ireland and the UK. However, it is most famous for its road course that drives through the countryside. The race is predominantly motorcycles, but they have added cars to the race. It is not the glamorous racing that takes place on professional courses that cost millions of dollars, but instead takes place on the standard roads that the country has to offer.
